The Funny Things Kids Say
My Wife was picking up my youngest son (3yo) from school because he was not feeling well. One of my eldest sons(6.5yo) was with her when she did this. She mentioned to him that she was bringing his brother home so that he could rest and recuperate.
My Eldest considered what she was saying for a short instant promptly responded "I don't know Mom that sounds bad. I don't think that we want him to recuperate. Because then we would say something like 'Mom don't go in there I just recuperated on the living room floor'"
